Description:
As a business analyst in R&D IT, you are a key member of a DevOps team delivering IT products to the most innovative scientists in agriculture. You are not limited to your title but love to roll up your sleeves and play whatever part your team needs to succeed. You truly shine when translating the scientific needs of the users into concise language for your team to deliver. Most importantly, you love to learn about the cool science going on in Syngenta every day - from trait discovery to crop modeling to in silico predictive breeding.
Multiple position openings available; this position has the flexibility of working at other Syngenta locations.
What will you do?

Engage with R&D and IT colleagues to generate user stories for next generation scientific capabilities

Team up with the R&D product owner to continually refine, groom, and prioritize the backlog of capabilities

Collaborate with the entire DevOps team to clarify technical, QA, and functional needs

Keep your eye on the ball: focus on business goals and business outcomes to deliver continuous value to the users

Influence stakeholders to keep them focused and realistic, as well as show leadership in the team and across the function
Qualifications
What do you need to have?

Minimum 3+ years of experience as a business analyst in an agile organization

Excellent communication skills, and a knack for writing good user stories

A continuous improvement mindset for your DevOps team, and a willingness to give and take honest feedback

Knowledge of DevOps practices
