Core Responsibilities

  • Support insights and analytics for a leading grocery chain in the Northeast U.S., with a focus on center store merchandising analytics
  • Coordinate, execute, analyze, and present findings for a variety of research requests by the retail client; recommend potential action steps and additional research opportunities
  • Demonstrate ability to cut through data and identify what is most important
  • Draft client ready decks and presents fact based arguments influentially
  • Effectively synthesize content written and verbally
  • Consult with retail clients on a full-range of IRI solutions, including custom projects
  • Coordinate and execute high quality on-going analytic and ad-hoc requests
  • Use strong analytical skills to consult with our client retailer teams
  • Help the client derive key strategic insights from the myriad data types that IRI provides and drive retailer adoption to IRI tools and technology
  • Identify and develop IRI opportunities with client
  • Utilize creativity in identifying new techniques and processes
  • Identify and develop new project opportunities with client contacts; write proposals to gain new business
  • Establish and track critical metrics to measure progress against quality initiatives
  • Develop and leverage strong, collaborative relationships with internal IRI cross-functional teams
  • Primary liaison between the US and GOC offshore teams

Key Requirements

In addition to the above skills set, the ideal candidate must possess the following:

  • 3 + years of experience with syndicated data, analytics, category management, or related fields
  • Marketing and/or sales with a premier Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company or other companies using syndicated or POS data
  • Demonstrated expertise in translating data and analysis into relevant implications
  • Experience with syndicated data
  • Strong project management and process skills
  • Ability to engage in consultative manner with clients when helping solve/manage content deliverables
  • Bachelor's degree
