Senior Project Manager - Raleigh/Cary, NCBenesch is hiring experienced Project Manager to join our growing North Carolina Transportation Group. As a Senior Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to plan, design, review and manage various types of NCDOT and municipal projects.

The successful candidate for this position will be primarily responsible for:Monitor schedules, budgets, accounts receivable and manpower requirements.
Prepares project pricing, budgets and invoices.
Develop Project Management plans for assigned projects
Develop project schedule, budget and project quality management plans (PQMP)
Manage the technical resources of a project
Checking plans and submissions per NCDOT standards and requirements
Checking task deliverables to insurance compliance with project QA/QC guidelines and PQMP
Coordinate with Group Managers, Technical Managers and Practice leads
Be a task leader for NCDOT embedded efforts including providing project oversight, reviewing work performed by other consultants, advise NCDOT (PMU, Divisions or other units).
BS in Civil Engineering
PE and/or AICP License or ability to obtain through reciprocity would be desirable
Minimum of 20 years of developing roadway/highway projects
Experience working with and developing NCDOT projects.
Excellent communication and client relation skills.
Strong organization and leadership skills with a track record for adhering to design budgets and schedules.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Candidate role can specialize as project manager or technical manager
Experience managing a multi-disciplined project team
Work is performed within an office setting and will have Raleigh/Cary as a primary office. An opportunity exists for a candidate to work remotely and/or as embedded staff with NCDOT offices (PMU, Divisions or other units).
