Central Carolina Hospital, along with Duke LifePoint are seeking a passionate Surgical Tech to work on our call team. With more than 120 physicians and more than 500 employees, the hospital offers a wide range of specialties. Central Carolina Hospital is nestled in the heart of central North Carolina and is located only 40 minutes southwest of Raleigh, the state capital, and just 40 minutes from the gates of Fort Bragg Military base. Our facility will allow you to use, sharpen and add to your Surgical Tech skills without having to commute to a large city environment.

Surgical Technologist will assist surgeons during operative procedures, cesarean sections, and other procedures. A Surgical Tech will ensure the operative suite is adequately prepared for procedure, monitors PAR levels of all surgical instruments, and supplies and cleans and prepares for sterilization all surgical instruments.

Work Schedule:

On call Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3pm-7am

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Other: Training commensurate with Surgical Technologist certification is required

Required Certification:

BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Certified in Surgical Technology or eligible to take Surgical Technology Certification Exam is desired
