Essential Job Duties
TRIO Programs were established to support the nation's commitment to provide educational opportunity for all Americans to enter college, graduate, and move on to participate more fully in realizing "America's Economic and Social Dream."

The primary purpose of this position is to assist high school students in the TRIO Upward Bound Program in academic skill building for core curricula courses especially rigorous courses.

Requirements and Preferences

Work Schedule 1 - 3 Wed afternoons/evenings per month, depending on availability. Travel plus work times approx. 2PM - 7PM. Available sites include Vance County High School (Henderson, NC), Louisburg High School (Louisburg, NC), and East Wake High School (Wendell, NC)

Candidates must have sufficient academic standing to provide tutorial assistance in high school standard course of study subjects. May be a college student or professional whose field of study is the academic subject or have experience and demonstrate mastery of subject through grade/curriculum.
