Essential Job Duties | Conduct laboratory based research studies that develop and demonstrate new instrumented test methods to measure the heat and moisture transfer properties of textile fabrics and clothing. To apply instrumented manikins and advanced thermophysical models to measure the effects of materials and environmental factors. To conduct human evaluator clothing comfort wear studies. To conduct studies in related areas including measurement of thermal protective performance. Write technical papers on research suitable for publication in refereed journals. To develop proposals that seek funding from Federal agencies and industry in these related areas of research. |

Work Schedule | M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm and as needed |
