Job Description

Position Summary:

Perform contract testing services, including in-process and release testing, method transfer activities, and qualification/validation activities for monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, and peptides

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs testing on in-process or drug substance/drug product and/or for method transfers/validations using bio-analytical techniques such as (but not limited to) HPLC, SDS-CGE, ELISA, qPCR, and SoloVPE.
  • Execution of method transfer and/or method validation testing performed under protocol
  • Drafting method transfer, method validation, and stability protocolsand reports
  • Regularly exercises technical discretion in the execution and interpretation of experiments that contribute to project goals.
  • Makes detailed observations and carries out data analysis
  • Understands experiments and conducts troubleshooting analysis
  • Assures proper labeling, handling, and storage of all chemicals used in the area; assures proper labeling and disposition of hazardous waste in satellite areas; adheres to all safety requirements and follows safe procedures, and attends all required safety and health training, including handling of hazardous waste

Minimum Requirements:

  • For Associate Scientist: Bachelorsdegree in a related field and 5+ years'experienceorMasters degreewith 3+years experience.
  • For Scientist I: Bachelors degree in a related field and 6+ years' experience or Masters degree and 5+ years' experience or PhD and 0+ years' experience

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000

Salary range provided per current averages and expectations. The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
