We are looking for an experienced designerwith a demonstrable track record in successfully generating renewable project drawing deliverables. The ideal candidate will be able to support projects in both power generation and power delivery. Specialized knowledge for the position is listed below:

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor graduate and mid-level designers and CAD technicians;
• Perform basic calculations of drawing features (i.e. BOM's, land use calculations, etc.);
• Utilize AutoCAD / Civil 3D to produce and edit design drawings;
• Develop and maintain drawing standards;
• Provide QA/QC of less experienced designers and technicians;
• Provide technical assistance for producing designs and details for renewable development projects;
• Typical design duties include site and electrical layouts for PV plants and substations;
• Conduct research for zoning and engineering design requirements;
• Coordinating with other design teams and/or disciplines

Qualifications and Experience:

• 5+ years' experience utilizing AutoCAD / Civil 3D to produce and edit design drawings;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software (particularly Word and Excel)
• Renewable experience preferred;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to adhere to product quality while balancing time spent;
• Works well both in team environment and working individually on projects;
