Essential Job Duties | Primary research focuses on developing methods to estimate Canada lynx abundance and distribution in Minnesota, USA using detection/non-detection data and genetic mark-recapture data. The position is located at North Carolina State University and involves a collaborative team including Dr. Nathan Hostetter (USGS NC Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit; NC State University), Megan Kosterman (U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service), and Dan Ryan (Superior National Forest). The postdoc will participate in all aspects of research activities, have opportunities to participate in occasional field research, and have the flexibility to explore their own research ideas.
