What You Will Do:

As an Environmental Project Engineer, you'll be involved with environmental projects and provide client-focused customer service in the public sector, manufacturing, energy, and real-estate markets. You'll perform environmental site assessments, remedial investigations, remedial design, environmental permitting and compliance, data management, and reporting. This position will include a mix of both field and office work associated with environmental evaluations. You'll interact with clients, contractors, regulators, local government officials, and the public to help our clients complete their projects while adhering to environmental regulations and sustainable business goals.


  • Project Management: Lead projects independently, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainable business goals. Manage small to medium projects, consulting with senior staff on technical matters. Showcase strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Field Operations: Plan and execute field investigations, including drilling, sampling, and data collection. Lead teams during fieldwork to ensure effective environmental evaluations.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply engineering and technical computations, emphasizing experience with Superfund and contaminated sites. Independently verify calculations, review laboratory data, and formulate recommendations.
  • Report and Proposal Preparation: Coordinate and prepare professional reports, adhering to company policies and technical best practices. Develop scope and fee proposals for small to medium projects under senior guidance.

Who You Are:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology or related field.
  • You have 4 to 10 years of environmental consulting experience.
  • You have knowledge of environmental sampling and testing methods, as well as federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
  • You have experience interacting with regulatory agencies/representatives.
  • You have OSHA 1910.120 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training.
  • You are able to travel and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
