Oil & Gas Project Manager

S&ME is currently seeking a full-time Oil & Gas Project Manager to join our Energy team based out of our Raleigh, North Carolina office.


What You Will Do:

As an Oil & Gas Project Manager, you will possess a strong understanding of natural gas distribution and transmission systems, environmental permitting, non-environmental permitting (such as DOT encroachments, utility encroachments, railroad encroachments, and zoning), design of distribution and transmission pipelines, preparation of plan/construction drawings and details, site grading and drainage, and erosion and sedimentation control plans. Will assist in business development to grow the business. Our project managers must have the ability to provide both technical expertise and project management.


Who You Are:

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering
  • You have 6+ years' experience, with 2+ years' experience in the oil and gas industry preferred
  • You have 2+ years' experience as a project manager
  • You have experience managing multi-disciplined teams on turnkey pipeline projects
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with teammates and clients
  • You have excellent computer skills and well-organized
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred
  • Experience with environmental permitting and design preferred
  • Pipeline design skills and AutoCAD experience preferred
