What is the Opportunity?

RBC Bank Mortgage Servicing and Default operations teams support the mortgage post-closing processes, the oversight of collection activity of retail loans and credit cards in default, and the day to day relationships with the suppliers who provide additional servicing and collections services to the Bank. The teams interact regularly with internal business partners such as Real Estate Lending, Finance and Risk Management to provide a line of sight into portfolio performance.

The Senior Analyst, Loan Operations will be responsible for supporting oversight procedures through operational performance reviews key to the business' control responsibilities, and to supporting senior management by providing effective oversight of the business processes.

What will you do?

  • Responsible for analytical review for the purposes of completing oversight responsibilities of business processes including but not limited to Loans Serviced By Others (LSBO), enhanced Subservicer oversight, and related controls.
  • Assisting leadership with the preparation of documentation highlighting key points in business performance
  • Exhibit high attention to detail in analyzing and articulating results derived from business reporting
  • Assisting with managing the completeness of the repository for control documentation for monthly control testing, internal and external audits.
  • Contribute to fostering a team environment through open communication and regular feedback
  • Work collaboratively with team members, internal partners, and suppliers to support continuous improvement opportunities and best practices
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the policies and procedures that impact the business.

What do you need to succeed?

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Technologically self-sufficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and other Bank systems/ applications
  • Experience working in dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Highschool with equivalent experience (required) and / or Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience (preferred)
