As an Independent Licensed Therapist, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical services to patients in an in-person, office-based environment. This position is within our Refresh Mental Health (RMH) organization, which provides a variety of behavioral and mental health treatments, including individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs. We seek a full-time and part-time Independent Licensed Therapist for our Braintree, Massachusetts location.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
  • Provide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods 
  • Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications

Required Qualifications: 
  • Clear and active LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT licensed in Massachusetts
  • Experience with health psychology
  • Experience working with children or adolescents
  • Experience with couples or family counseling
  • Comfortable working with a wide range of clinical presentations
  • Proven ability to work with patients in person and telehealth
  • Onsite in Braintree, MA
  • Telehealth option 1-2 days a week if full-time. Additional days on-site 

Preferred Qualification: 
  • 2+ years of clinical experience treating patients with behavioral health conditions
  • Hospital based experience
  • Solid computer and basic technology skills 
  • Proven ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with patient and other members of the care team 
  • Proven solid grasp of technology solutions and tools and ability to adapt
  • Proven evidence of working effectively and collaboratively with colleagues
  • Proven to be self-motivated, ambitious, and able to quickly build rapport with clients
