Overview

This role is part of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team and provides financial and analytical insights, and strategic planning support to the Private Bank and Wealth Management business line. Provide regular, timely and accurate financial reporting to inform business partners on key financial insights. Produce reasonable financial forecast focusing management on potential financial outcomes. Support business partners to understand financial results from new business strategies. We seek highly motivated candidates passionate about crafting financial analysis that inform strategic decisions with the adaptability to contribute to various initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting - Regular financial reporting to inform management about financial results across the balance sheet and income statement. Educate business partners on key drivers of profitability, including key variance analysis articulating the financial story. Provide comprehensive and consistent results, with salient points distilled for management.
  • Financial Planning - Provide regular financial planning of the balance sheet and income statement, including forecast calculations, presentation building and presentation of results. Focus leadership on the most important long term financial metrics. Educate business partners on and articulate key sensitivities impacting long term potential financial outcomes.
  • Strategic Financial Analysis - As business strategies emerge, understand, support business through financial acumen including financial trends, analysis, business case build and other strategic analysis. Partner and communicate with diverse stakeholders across geographies and teams to understand and articulate financial analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience in Finance or Analytics OR High School Diploma or GED and 7 years of experience in Finance or Analytics

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in Hyperion Essbase preferred
  • Attention to details and ability to synthesize large data into insightful recommendations to business leaders
  • Strong analytical, organization and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask while meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with experience in presenting to business partners
  • Proficient skills with the Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
