This position ensures the sanitation and safe environment for all employees, residents, and visitors. |
Ensures that assigned patient rooms are replenished with designated supplies daily, as evidenced in 22 of 24 random audits and no more than 5-7 otherwise noted deficiencies per year -------------------------------------------------- Ensures that supplies and equipment are properly placed so that clear pathways are maintained for people to travel through with no more than 1-2 noted exceptions and no slips, falls or injuries due to failure to comply, per year -------------------------------------------------- Follows established procedures in the performance of cleaning assignments so that specific results are obtained, as evidenced in 22 of 24 random inspection and no more than 5-7 otherwise noted deficiencies per year. -------------------------------------------------- Identifies and uses proper cleaning agents and equipment for specified surface to ensure its safeguard against damage and to obtain maximum effectiveness -------------------------------------------------- Inspects linens for damage, turning in those which are unacceptable for use so that linen in unacceptable condition is not found on beds more than 1-2 times per year. -------------------------------------------------- Maintains par levels of cleaning supplies on cart daily so that delays do not occur due to inadequate preparation. -------------------------------------------------- Observes assigned work area and reports to supervisor safety hazards associated with faulty or ill-repaired building structure, without prompting or delay -------------------------------------------------- Operates and maintains equipment in accordance with manufacturer's specifications so that no injuries occur to self or others and so that no damage or excessive wear and tear occurs due to failure to comply -------------------------------------------------- Organizes time and priorities so that assigned activities are complete within designated time frames with no more than 2-4 avoidable exceptions per year -------------------------------------------------- Uses established methods to mark off areas that are unsafe due to cleaning operation so that no slips, falls or injuries occur due to failure to comply -------------------------------------------------- |
