Job Description
Summary
This position is accountable for full-cycle engineered-to-order product delivery.  Reporting to the Sr. Project Manager, the Project Manager interacts with internal and external customers to ensure that deliverable products and services meet or exceed the specifications based upon delivery, aesthetic, and other applicable metrics.  Additional scope may include leading a project team and ensuring quality tolerances are held within specification throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
  1. Manage project development from initiation to closure and be accountable for project results
  2. Work with all stakeholders (manufacturing, accounting, quality, engineering, external reps, account executives, etc.) to communication expectations and act as a mediator between and among internal/external stakeholders
  3. Resolve any issues and problems throughout the lifecycle of Architectural Railing System projects.
  4. Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports/updates to applicable parties
  5. Develop tools and best practices within the PM area of execution
  6. Ensure all project documents and files are properly routed throughout and upon project completion
  7. Interface with customer via phones, e-mail, etc., to take new orders, issue quotes, and vet change orders, all in preparation of issuing the job to manufacturing.
  8. Liaise with Accounting, Sales, & IT to ensure accuracy of records, documentation, terms, retainage, and/or milestone billings, to manage customer communications relative to schedule and progress of projects.
  9. Any additional duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
  1. Project Management (5-10 years) is preferred.
  2. Degree in project management, construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  3. Electrical schematics, architectural blueprint, and production print reading knowledge preferred.
  4. ERP operating system-based working knowledge is desired - EPICOR system knowledge preferred.
Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  1. Ability to develop and manage long range and short-term project development and customer plans.
  2. Ability to generate consensus and influence others to achieve a specified, desired result.
  3. Familiarization with automated records systems is helpful.
  4. Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  5. Ability to elicit cooperation from executives, managers, peers, and other departments.
