Senior Natural Resources Project Manager - Team Leader

We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Project Manager - Team Lead to join our Natural Resources team in Charlotte, North Carolina.


As a Senior Project Manager - Team Lead, you will serve the role of a manager, in addition to serving in a professional and/or technical role (e.g., Project Manager, Engineer). The Team Leader is the manager of a team within an office and is responsible for combining and using organizational resources to confirm staff achieve individual goals that contribute to the attainment of the overall goals for the office, region, market sectors, service lines, and company.


Your Day-to-Day:

  • Establish and maintain staff through recruitment, supervision, training, and mentoring, ensuring alignment with office profitability goals.
  • Utilize company technology, including Microsoft Word, Excel, BST, MetaField, and Workday, for various tasks such as proposal preparation, payroll, and accessing employee data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders such as Operations Manager, Field/Lab Services Manager, and Human Resources on human resources-related issues and compliance.
  • Oversee staff timesheets, expense reports, and supplies management, adhering to company policies and regulations.
  • Coordinate with team leaders to identify and acquire necessary resources for project completion, including technical training and equipment procurement.

What You Bring:

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a closely related field and a minimum of 3 years of applicable experience OR a minimum of 7 years of combined work experience and vocational training
  • Decision-making using critical thinking and problem-solving skills based on research and evaluation of available information.
  • The understanding of business metrics, safety policies/procedures, human resources policies/procedures, risk management concepts, and other applicable policies and procedures.
  • A Professional License, a plus
