Job Description
Arconic is currently in search of Legal Counsel, Commercial to join our Legal Team in Pittsburgh, PA or Alcoa, TN.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Providing commercial advice and dispute support to commercial and procurement professionals.
  • Draft, edit and negotiate various commercial and procurement contracts and other documents.
  • Provide preventive law training to business and resource unit professionals.
  • Revise or establish relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions
  • Support senior level attorneys on significant commercial matters, including commercial litigation as needed.
  • Support M&A activity on an as-needed basis

  • Team Player - understands how an assignment fits into a larger transaction, strategy, or initiative; collaborates well with clients, peers, support staff and team members; utilizes a wide variety of skills to accomplish business objectives while managing risk.

Basic Qualifications
  • Law degree (JD) from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) and is currently a member in good standing of the bar of a State, a Territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
  • Minimum seven years' related experience as a practicing lawyer.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a practicing lawyer working for a corporate legal department or law firm focusing on commercial contracting.
  • Previous in-house experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with commercial technology transactions.
