Job Summary

The Program Manager works with many levels of leadership and staff to manage program efforts based on industry best practices; works as the single point of contact for facilitation and communication of program goals, deliverables, and schedules, and must be an excellent communicator; various levels of documentation will be produced at each stage of the program and the program manager is often the person who creates these with input from others.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 - Establish goals, objectives, and evaluation criteria for programs; evaluate program effectiveness on an ongoing basis.
Job Duty 2 - Manage day-to-day operational aspects of programs, including planning scheduling, and monitoring activities; Assist with developing and formalizing program scope; assign resources and set deadlines.
Job Duty 3 - Recommend, update, and support programmatic policies and procedures.
Job Duty 4 - Develop and maintain effective relationships with program sponsors, stakeholders, teams, and others to assess needs and existing program methodology.
Job Duty 5 - Research and identify funding and resources to support programs; Track timelines and budgets, report status, and resolve or escalates issues as necessary.
Job Duty 6 - May assist with developing and distributing publications, resources, and program or marketing materials.
Job Duty 7 - Participate in strategic and operational planning for programs.
Job Duty 8 - Perform other job-related duties assigned.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
High School Diploma/GED or Vocational School Diploma.

Other Required Qualifications
Valid Georgia Driver's License May be required to lift up to 50 lbs., stand and/or walk for extended periods and work on ladders and lifts; may be exposed to extreme weather conditions, hazardous materials, fumes, dust/sawdust, noise, inadequate or poor quality lighting; serve on a regular evening duty rotation; may require some intermittent and evening hours. Position requires ability to pass a drug/alcohol screening.

Required Experience
Up to two years of job-related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of knowledge base management experience
2+ years of proven excellence authoring and editing in a technical environment
Excellent written skills in English and the ability to coach others to create clear and effective content
Strong organizational, self-directed, analytical, and decision-making skills to thrive with aggressive time sensitive deadlines
Working knowledge of HTML
Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
Strong collaboration skills, and an ability to interoperate effectively with highly-technical engineering staff
Ability to quickly learn new concepts, skills, and processes
Solid in-person and remote presentation skills

Skills:
Extensive experience managing content in SharePointincluding team sites
Previous experience developing and managing documentation for a global organization
Proficient with graphic design software
ITIL Foundation Certification or equivalent knowledge of ITIL/ITSM
Knowledge of cloud technology and distributed computing
Previous experience with ServiceNow or similar products.

KNOWLEDGE
This job requires knowledge management experience.

SKILLS
This job requires experience related to content management and writing/ publishing skills of technically oriented materials in a digital workflow environment (eg ServiceNow, Salesforce, MS SCSM)
